Available online, this new guide will be delivered on CDs in custom packaging that seamlessly integrates into an architect’s existing library.

The Design & Specification Guide assists architects and other design professionals in utilizing the unlimited advantages of underfloor heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and voice/data cable management through related cost- and time-effective construction methods.

"The electronic version of the Design & Specification Guide offers users a number of benefits," said Tate Marketing Manager Scott Alwine. "In addition to being less cumbersome than a binder, the new format allows architects and others who use the guide to quickly access information by downloading specifications and CAD details as they look at the guide. Improved organization of the online version will also help to ensure that users capture the correct detail."

Content has been updated to include recent Tate projects and information regarding Tate’s new perimeter pedestal. Other content remains unchanged, including a selection guide, specific product information and architectural details associated with raised access floor systems.

The guide offers an environmentally friendly alternative to printed binders. However, for those times when printed materials are necessary, the e-catalog is equipped with bookmarking capabilities. This provides quick access to pages most commonly used and allows the user to print just those bookmarked pages, reflecting Tate’s commitment to continually searching for ways to reduce the environmental impact of its manufacturing process and business operations while delivering superior products and services to its customers.
